About Whittier Fence & Gate Specialists

Craftsmanship & Security Built for Whittier Foothill Living

It started with just two of us here in Whittier — almost 20 years ago — building custom wooden gates for friends and neighbors in Friendly Hills. No shop, no website, no business cards. Just honest work and a commitment to doing it right. As word spread and the referrals kept coming, we started incorporating fences alongside the gates, expanding what we could offer the homeowners who trusted us.

For years we operated strictly on word of mouth. No website, no socials, no advertising — just one satisfied homeowner telling the next. It worked because the work spoke for itself. But times have changed, and we realized there were more neighbors out there who could use our help. So here we are — official name, online presence, and all. When demand grew and the complexity and scale of the jobs grew, we started bringing in trusted contractor partners — good people who share our standards and help us take on more projects without ever cutting corners. We still build every project like it's for a friend, because that's exactly how it started.

Foothill wind, slope, and clay-heavy ground call for specialized wood treatment, stainless hardware, and heavy-duty steel footings. Whether upgrading backyard privacy in East Whittier, adding a modern composite fence in South Whittier, or installing a smart automatic gate on a steep Friendly Hills hillside driveway, clear flat-rate pricing and a straightforward process are part of every project. We hope to meet more of you.
